The award consists of a certificate and a prize money of 2000 Euro. It will be awarded during the GDCh Wissenschaftsforum Chemie, which will take place from August 29 through September 1, 2021 as an online conference. The recipient is expected to present the research behind the award-winning publication or PhD thesis in a short lecture.
Both nominations by the candidate’s scientific supervisor and applications are possible. The research article must have been published or accepted for publication between January 1 and December 31, 2020; the PhD thesis must have been finished in 2020. All proposals should consist of an informal letter by the candidate’s scientific supervisor justifying the proposal, CV of the candidate (inclusive of contact details), and the publication or PhD thesis itself.
