The GAIN22 is generally a career event for German researchers who are currently doing research abroad or recently returned to Germany after a stay abroad. If this applies to you or you are aware of a German researchers, conducting research abroad, please refer them to the call - they can also apply for travel funding to attend all three days of the program (Sept. 2-4, mainly in German. The organizers also invite all international PhD, and postdoctoral students, as well as junior faculty of all disciplines in Germany to join us for the Saturday afternoon program on Sept. 3 at the GAIN22 conference and career fair in Bonn, Germany.
The annual GAIN conference is a large German science and research gathering and the ideal platform for to learn about academic careers and funding opportunities in Germany. You can schedule appointments with representatives from more than 100 German universities, research institutions, funding agencies, and industry. Find out about their programs and job openings!
The Saturday afternoon program is in English. The “Research in Germany” initiative offers a special information session with expert advisers and consultants with the title “Research in Germany: Opportunities for Postdocs, Young Investigators, and Junior Faculty Members in Germany”.
Any international, PhD student, or postdoc in the area is invited to join the Saturday afternoon session at GAIN22. There is no admission fee for international researchers but registration is required.
Further the organizers like to invite you to participate in the GAIN22 Science Slam! Present your findings in a five-minute pitch in front of the GAIN22 audience. Take up the chance and impart your current research results to a diverse audience and win a cash prize of 2500 Euros!
