The conference Teaching Across Communities at Helmholtz (TEACH) will take place in December (07 – 08/12/2023) for the third time!
Teaching personnel, researchers, training coordinators and personnel developers are invited to exchange on their best practices and experiences in teaching, to share resources on the whole education life cycle, and to build and strengthen a network of people in teaching within Helmholtz and across disciplines.
As a kick off, there will be a keynote by Dr. John Bai (COER - Center for Open Education Research, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg), who will give us some insights into their research on AI applications in higher education.
This year’s TEACH topics are:
- AI in Education
- Education on AI
- Mental Health
- Best practices in online vs offline settings
Are you teaching, developing or coordinating trainings or courses? Do you work as a personnel developer? Share your ideas, experiences or resources with other educational enthusiasts and submit an abstract for a contribution (talk, poster or workshop) in one or more of the above topics. The deadline to submit an abstract is September 13, 2023, and we are open for German and English contributions. You can find more information here.
Of course, you can also attend the TEACH conference without an own contribution. Please register here between July 1 and November 30.
