Call for applications: Dr. Holger Müller Prize 2020

The Care-for-Rare Foundation for children with rare diseases at the Dr. von Hauner's Children's Hospital of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich praises the Dr. Holger Müller Prize 2020. Deadline is December 1st, 2020.

The prize, in the amount of 5,000 Euro, is provided by the Dr. Holger Müller Foundation to honor outstanding scientific work in the field of rare diseases. A disease is considered rare if no more than 5 out of 10,000 people are affected. Basic scientific and clinical work will be considered.

A scientific manuscript can be submitted for the current call period, which must have been submitted in the period between December 1st, 2019 and November 30th 2020 or has been accepted for publication.

The Dr. Holger Müller Prize is aimed particularly at younger scientists to honor and promote their commitment to people with rare diseases.The Care-for-Rare Foundation supports interdisciplinary and internationally oriented scientific projects with the aim of elucidating the causes of disease and developing innovative therapies for children with rare diseases.

Eligibility: individuals or groups working at a research institution in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Young scientists are specifically encouraged to apply.
