The HMGU Career Center for Postdocs and Graduate Students is happy to announce that the next Company Visit to Roche and BioM will take place on the 26th of July (details below)!. This excursion is a great possibility to explore career opportunities outside academia and to get in contact with potential employers. Participation is possible for all Postdocs and Graduate Students of HMGU.

Details:
We will have a strong focus on pharma/ biotech on this day. In the morning, we will spend five full hours at Roche in Penzberg. We will be able to visit part of the site and engage in discussions with scientists in various functions at this prominent pharma company.
In the afternoon, we will visit the biotech cluster BioM in Martinsried. The Head of Corporate Communications will share his experiences about his work and give an overview of the Bavarian biotech scene.
We will invite more professionals from start-ups and medium-sized biotech companies for a panel discussion at BioM in order to give you a broad perspective of the possible jobs Postdocs and Graduate students can aim for.
