I started my doctoral work at the Institute for Diabetes and Regeneration Research in May 2019. In addition to my work in the lab, I also wanted to be part of the doctoral network and to help improve our life at the center. Therefore, I joined the doctoral initiative (DINI) in early 2020 and since then I distribute the DINI newsletter. This means I am in constant exchange with other DINI members to bring you the news – courses, events, deadlines, and parties! I also brought you the sustainability series in the newsletter to inform you about ecological solutions on campus.
I wish to represent international doctoral researchers, as almost half of us are not from Germany. I am active in the meetings with HELENA to brainstorm about fun events and opportunities for you, and with the works council to make sure we have fair and equal opportunities at the center.
