Contents Discussion of landmark papers in allergy, type 2 immune responses and chronic inflammation
Didactic Aim/Competences Identify key scientific advances from the field of allergy & immunology Critically review scientific articles (including methodology, study design, adequate citation of current literature, novelty, limitations, medical implications etc.) Present complex and novel data in a clear and comprehensible way to other PhD students with a mixed background (medicine, immunology, biochemistry)
Didactic Elements Self-guided reading of the scientific literature, presentation (ppt) (min. 2 slots per year for each PhD student) and discussion with other PhD students and postdocs
