Professional Skills
“An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest” - Benjamin Franklin
At HELENA, scientific education within environmental health research plays the most important role. But HELENA also understands the importance of professional skills for the future career of our graduate students. Together with its partners, the LMU and the TUM, HELENA offers a great variety of seminars and courses, ranging from scientific writing to training in management, leadership and communication. With this educational concept, we want to make sure that our students are optimally trained for a successful career in research, industry and scientific administration.
Graduate students of HELENA can participate in the professional skills program at the Helmholtz Zentrum, the LMU Graduate Center and the TUM Graduate School (on availability). Every participation will be accredited with HELENA Equivalents (HE) by the Graduate Student Office.
