The TUM-GS is happy to announce the new Transferable Skills Training Program! Registration via DocGS will open today, 19th Feb 2018, at 12:00 (noon).
A wide range of courses are offered in order to support graduate students in developing transferable skills and to expand interdisciplinary experience. The courses are designed as an additional qualification element and offer valuable orientation for next career steps.
Due to rising demand for courses, additional courses were added to this semester’s program – new courses as well as well-established ones. Please visit the TUM-GS websiteto have a look at the whole course offer as well as the respective course details. Here you will find the qualification program, divided into two main categories; the PhD-oriented program (green) and the Career-oriented program (orange). The PhD-oriented program supports a graduate students training in transferable skills, whereas the Career-oriented program provides courses important for the personal career orientation and development.
Thematic Focus
This semester’s qualification program, emphasizes the importance of building responsible and value-based leadership skills already during the doctorate.
Graduate students are most welcome to join the Semester Opening Talk, which will take place for the first time.

After registering for a course, please make sure to transfer your financial contribution within one week after your registration. Should you not meet this deadline, your course registration will automatically be cancelled and we will give someone from the waiting list the opportunity to participate in the course. So please transfer your financial contribution directly if you want to be sure to keep your course place!
