Christine Weber is an Associate Editor at Nature Cell Biology, where she currently handles papers on stem cell research. She completed her doctoral work in the laboratory of Prof. Fiona Watt in Cambridge, focussing on skin stem cells and the role of the innate immune system in skin tumorigenesis. After a brief stint as an editor at a Nature Reviews Journal she joined Nature Cell Biology in January 2016. In this seminar, she will give an overview of the editorial processes at the Journal, how manuscripts are taken from submission to publication, tips and tricks on how to prepare your paper and insights into life as an editor and careers in scientific publishing.
