The use of social media is becoming increasingly important for researchers. Have you ever wondered how you can communicate professionally and effectively on Twitter? How you can build an academic network? Whether you are completely new to Twitter or already have some experiences, the live webinar can help you increase your social media skills.

PhD students and postdocs are also invited to join the second Young Scientists @HMGU Twitter Conference between April 20th and April 22nd, each day from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A twitter conference provides the opportunity to present your research on Twitter to a wide audience. Each presenter will get a 15 min timeslot to tweet 4 slides along with a caption under a common hashtag. By following the conference specific hashtag, everyone on Twitter is able to see and react to those tweets. This offers the opportunity, to engage with researchers from all over the world, build up networks and promote your personal twitter account. The participation in the conference with submission of 4 conference tweets will be credited with 16 hours for HELENA members.
