This will take place from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the virtual go-to-webinar meeting room.
We are very pleased to welcome our guest speaker: Prof. Dr. Reiner Anselm, Professor of Systematic Theology and Ethics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Mr. Anselm will be giving a lecture on ethics in biomedicine. We are looking forward to this exciting topic!
Afterwards, there will be four short presentations from this year's ERC Starting Grant winners:
- Dr. Maria Rohm, Group: Tissue Cross Talk in Cancer Metabolism, IDC;
- Dr. Marie Standl, Group: Allergic Disease Epidemiology, EPI;
- Dr. Michael Menden, Group: Computational Biomedicine, ICB;
- Dr. Janna Nawroth, Biomedical Imaging, from summer 2021: IBMI.
The four Starting Grant winners, with their research expertise in the fields of metabolism, allergies, bioinformatics and bioimaging, contribute to strengthening key research areas at the Center and further advance the implementation of our mission: the development of personalized medical solutions for the prevention and therapy of environmentally-related diseases.
The event will be held in English.
