CPC Graduate Student Wins 3rd PneumoUpdate Prize

Katrin Kohse, graduate student at the CPC research group „Immunopathology of COPD“, was invited to participate in the PneumoUpdate 2012. In her talk, she presented “Das zeitabhängige Auftreten von Th17 Zellen in einem Zigarettenrauch induzierten COPD-Mausmodell” (The time course of Th17 cell recruitment in a cigarette smoke induced COPD mouse model). The talk was rewarded as 3rd best scientific contribution.

The 9th PneumoUpdate took place from May 10 - 12, 2012, in Innsbruck/Igls,  Austria. The congress covered topics from basic science, clinical application, molecular medicine up to state-of-the-art in diagnostics and therapy of lung disease.
