Handling of Fertilized Chicken Eggs, Operation of the Electroporator, Preparation of Expression Vector, Processing of Tissue Specimen as Sections or Whole-Mount and Analysis of Transgene Expression Using Fluorescent Microscopy.

Didactic Aim/Competences

Understanding of the Basic Concepts of Electroporation and Chick Embryonic Development, Competence in Tissue Preparation and Basic Imaging Techniques.

Didactic Elements

Lectures on Chick Embryonic Development and Basics of Electroporation. Practical Training on Electroporation, Tissue Processing, and Imaging of Fixed and Live Tissue Specimen.
